Lindsay Bayford (Weigl) was born and raised in Edmonton, Alberta.  She moved to the Okanagan Valley with her husband and two children in 2009.  They welcomed their third child in 2011.  After years of Okanagan living throughout the Valley, it is where her soul feels most at home.  She currently resides in Osoyoos, BC on a beautiful vineyard—along with her husband, three children, three dogs, and her antique upright piano. While running a small busy shop in downtown Osoyoos, she daydreams of days when she can sit at her laptop and properly craft the stories that never seem to stop running through her head.

Lindsay first became a piano teacher, then a school teacher, and then a mom.  She has always aspired to be a writer.  The journey to have her first book published began in the summer of 2014—taking more than two years of learning and crafting before its publication in October 2016.  Lindsay is always eager to share both the story and the story behind the story with children and adults alike.

Lindsay’s is currently only semi-busy crafting a mystery novel for young readers, as well as a romantic fiction novel for adults.
